# Bundle builder

Lets shoppers build a multi-product bundle on one page. A live summary shows the running total and a progress bar toward the next discount tier, with a message when a tier is reached. Products with options are chosen inline, and the whole bundle goes to cart in one step. A stepped version splits the flow into tabs, one category per tab.

The bundle builder **shows** the projected savings — it does not apply the discount itself. Create a matching automatic discount in **Shopify admin → Discounts**, and enter the same tier values in the section so the numbers shoppers see match what's applied at checkout.

## How to turn it on

1. Create the matching discount in **Shopify admin → Discounts** — the section only styles the offer, it does not apply it. Follow [How to set up the bundle builder](/helix/how-to-guides/how-to-set-up-the-bundle-builder.md).
2. Add the [Bundle builder](/helix/global-sections/products/bundle-builder.md) section to a page, or [Bundle builder tabs](/helix/global-sections/products/bundle-builder-tabs.md) for a stepped flow.
3. Set the product pool in the **Product list** block, and the discount tiers and reward messages in the **Bundle summary** block.
