# Share cart

Generates a link that recreates the cart — every product, variant, and quantity. Opening the link adds those items to the recipient's cart. The share control appears in the cart drawer and on the cart page.

## How to turn it on

1. In the theme editor, open [**Theme settings → Cart**](/helix/theme-settings/cart.md#share-cart).
2. Under **Share cart**, turn on **Enable share cart**.
3. Set the **Button style** to match your cart layout.
4. Save.

It is a storewide setting — the share control appears in the [Cart drawer](/helix/overlay-group/cart-drawer.md) and on the [Cart page](/helix/other-sections/cart-page.md) at once. There is no per-place toggle.
