# Press
An auto-cycling quote carousel for customer testimonials and press mentions. Each quote can include a photo and a name.

**Look for "Press" in the theme editor.** This section is named **Press** — under the **Trust & social proof** category — not "Testimonials". Searching for "Testimonials" when adding a section will not find it.

## Presets
The section ships with two presets. Both are added from **Add section → Trust & social proof**.

| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Press | The standard layout — a subheading and the quotes carousel, with no background media. |
| Press: Background | The same layout with background media set, so the quotes sit over an image or video. |

| Max width | Maximum width of the quote container. |
| Alignment | Alignment of all content within the section. |
### Gap

| Gap — Desktop | Vertical spacing between blocks on desktop. |
| Gap — Mobile | Vertical spacing on mobile. |
### Background

| Background media | Image or video shown behind the section content. |
| Image | Section background image. |
| Image — Mobile | Separate background image for mobile. |
| Video | Shopify-hosted background video. Autoplays muted. |
| Show overlay | Add a color layer over the background media. |
| Overlay color | Color and opacity of the overlay. |
| Parallax effect | Scroll-based motion applied to the background media. |

### Section Header
The heading area above the quotes carousel. Add **Subheading**, **Heading**, and **Text** child blocks inside it — see [Header](/helix/theme-blocks/basic/header.md).
### Quotes
The auto-cycling quote carousel. Add one **Item** block per quote.
| Setting | Description |
| -------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Auto-rotate slides | Advances through the quotes automatically, at a set **Speed**, and can **Pause on hover**. |
| Image spacing — Desktop / Mobile | Space around the quote images. |
| Image gap — Desktop / Mobile | Space between the images. |
#### Item
A single quote.
| Setting | Description |
| ------------------------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Image | The photo shown with the quote. |
| Image ratio | Original, Square (1:1), Portrait (2:3), or Landscape (3:2). |
| Corner radius | Rounding of the image corners, with a **Custom corner radius** value when set to Custom. |
| Image width — Desktop / Mobile | Size of the photo per device. |
