# Breadcrumbs

A navigation trail showing the visitor's location within the store (e.g. **Home → Collections → T-Shirts**). Add it to any template except the homepage. One Breadcrumbs section per page.

**Tip:** Place Breadcrumbs as the first section on the page, above the Collection Banner or Product Information, so it sits directly below the header.

## Settings

| Setting                 | Description                                                                                                                                                                     |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Width                   | **Page** — Keeps the content within the page width set in your theme settings. **Full** — Stretches the content across the full browser width, with a small space at the edges. |
| Show top divider        | Adds a border above the breadcrumb bar.                                                                                                                                         |
| Show bottom divider     | Adds a border below the breadcrumb bar.                                                                                                                                         |
| Style                   | The separator shown between items.                                                                                                                                              |
| Alignment               | Horizontal alignment of the breadcrumb trail.                                                                                                                                   |
| Size                    | Size of the breadcrumb text.                                                                                                                                                    |
| Color scheme            | Background and text colors for the section.                                                                                                                                     |
| Padding top / bottom    | Vertical spacing above and below the bar.                                                                                                                                       |
| Custom padding — Mobile | Override desktop padding with independent mobile values.                                                                                                                        |
