# Countdown timer

A live countdown to a target date — for launches, sales, and scarcity-driven campaigns.

| Setting                        | Description                                                                                                   |
| ------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Style                          | **With labels**, **Inline**, or **Inline (superscript)**.                                                     |
| Show background                | Wrap the timer in a colored container.                                                                        |
| Corner radius                  | Corner rounding of the container.                                                                             |
| Type                           | **Fixed time** (a specific date) or **Recurring** (repeats on an interval).                                   |
| End time                       | The target date, format `YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM` (24-hour). Based on your store's primary timezone.                 |
| Hide block when the timer ends | Remove the timer once it reaches zero.                                                                        |
| Duration                       | For Recurring — every hour up to every month.                                                                 |
| Typography                     | Number size, label size, font, font size, and letter spacing.                                                 |
| Color                          | Type (Inherit / Custom), and custom number, text, and background colors.                                      |
| Animation                      | Entrance effect (Fade, Scale, Slide from left / right / bottom) played on scroll, with an optional **Delay**. |
| Padding                        | Outer spacing: top / bottom, with independent mobile values via **Custom for mobile**.                        |
